Service Description

Experience a fabulously delicious five-night culinary escape in the charming French country town of Montmorillon. Your Vienne Residency includes five nights’ accommodation in our renovated two-bedroom townhouse in the heart of Montmorillon, just a short walk from my home kitchen where we’ll cook together during two full-day hands-on classes. We’ll greet you with a welcome aperitif dinner after a guided orientation tour of town, and throughout your stay, you’ll explore the best of the local area—from Limoges’ bustling food markets and the moving WWII memorial site of Oradour-sur-Glane, to the charming villages of Chauvigny, Saint-Savin, and Angles-sur-l’Anglin, home to a UNESCO-listed abbey and some of the region’s most picturesque streets. On two dedicated cooking days, we’ll prepare and enjoy classic and regional French dishes, savour long lunches in the garden, and share leisurely dinners crafted from the dishes you’ve learned. With plenty of time to relax, explore, and connect, this immersive culinary residency is your invitation to slow down and soak up the delicious pace of French country life. Pick-up from Montmorillon station is included, and we can also assist with transfers from Poitiers or Limoges airports.
