Come experience a fabulously delicious culinary escape in the charming town of Montmorillon, nestled in the heart of the French countryside. This three-night residency is perfect for food lovers seeking a hands-on immersion into French cuisine, regional culture, and relaxed village life. Your stay includes accommodation in our beautifully renovated two-bedroom townhouse, located right in the centre of Montmorillon—just a five-minute stroll from my home kitchen where we’ll cook together during your full-day French cooking class. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with an orientation tour of Montmorillon, followed by a welcome apéritif dinner. The next day, choose between two curated regional tours: explore the Limoges food market and visit the haunting memorial of Oradour-sur-Glane, or head to Chauvigny’s vibrant market, the UNESCO-listed abbey at Saint-Savin, and the postcard-perfect village of Angles-sur-l’Anglin. On the final full day, we roll up our sleeves for a full-day cooking class, preparing French classics and regional favourites using seasonal local ingredients. After a leisurely lunch in our garden, we’ll finish off the cooking and then enjoy a convivial dinner featuring all the delicious dishes we’ve created together. Transfers from Montmorillon station are included, with pick-up/drop-off from Poitiers or Limoges available on request.
