Herbs de Provence Goats Cheese Salad

I like to make a goats cheese salad to highlight the creamy, tangy flavor of the cheese while offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Use fresh greens like arugula or spinach as a vibrant base, and add seasonal vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, or roasted beets for color and nutrition. You can enhance the salad with nuts like toasted walnuts or pecans for crunch, and include fruits like sliced pears or berries for a refreshing sweetness that balances the savory elements.

For the dressing, herbs de Provence paired with high-quality extra virgin olive oil adds a fragrant Mediterranean touch. A splash of balsamic vinegar or fresh lemon juice brightens the flavors, creating a harmonious blend with the creamy cheese and crisp greens.

Present the salad on a large platter, crumbling the goats cheese on top and arranging the vegetables and fruits attractively. Drizzle with the olive oil dressing just before serving. This goats cheese salad is a delicious starter, side dish, or light main course, ideal for warm days or casual gatherings.

Here’s my recipe.
