Montmorillon stole my heart the first time I visited in the middle of winter 2020—and now, years later, we’re lucky enough to call it home. It’s a town full of charm, history, and, of course, incredible food, and I love sharing its flavors and stories with visitors.

 

Now, I invite you to experience authentic French cuisine through our hands-on cooking classes. Join us for a one-day summer lunch class, or dive deeper with a three-day summer workshop, which includes cooking, tasting, and a guided tour of nearby markets and charming local towns.

 

In the autumn, our seasonal classes continue with an all-day market-focused cooking class, where we explore fresh, local ingredients and prepare a full French meal together. For those wanting a truly immersive experience, the three-day autumn workshop pairs cooking classes with a trip to the fabulous market in Limoges, discovering the very best seasonal produce and specialties the region has to offer.

 

Whether you’re visiting from abroad or simply seeking a memorable culinary adventure, these classes are designed to teach you practical French cooking skills, immerse you in local flavors, and leave you inspired to cook like a French chef.

Summer Classes

A Taste of Vienne – Summer Lunch Class: Enjoy a one-day hands-on experience celebrating regional, seasonal French cooking, featuring local ingredients and a delicious four-course lunch with drinks and cheese tasting.

Three-Day Summer Workshop: Dive deeper with three full days of cooking, paired with a guided tour of nearby markets and charming local towns to discover the flavors of the region firsthand.

Autumn Classes 

All-Day Market Class – Autumn: Explore local markets and seasonal produce in a full-day hands-on cooking experience, learning to prepare traditional French dishes with fresh ingredients.

Three-Day Autumn Workshop: Experience three immersive days of cooking combined with a trip to the fabulous market in Limoges, discovering regional specialties and ingredients while perfecting your French culinary skills.

Spring Classes 

All-Day Market Class – Spring: Spend a full day discovering fresh, local spring ingredients at the market, and learn to prepare seasonal French dishes in a hands-on cooking experience.

 

Three-Day Spring Workshop: Immerse yourself in three days of cooking, paired with excursions to a local nursery, a nearby UNESCO heritage site, and beautiful châteaux, combining culinary skills with the region’s culture, history, and scenery.

Each summer lunch class is limited to 8 participants, while our all-day classes and three-day workshops are kept small, with a maximum of 6 participants. This ensures a personal, hands-on experience where everyone can fully engage in cooking and learning.

Montmorillon is easy to reach, with a train station just five minutes from the centre of town. The TGV from Paris, Charles de Gaulle, Bordeaux or even Brussels connects through Poitiers, with Montmorillon just a short regional train ride away. Flights are also available into Limoges and Poitiers airports.
